That's not much of a temperature. 130 years ago it was cold. Glaciers went way down the mountain valleys after the Little Ice Age. Now it isn't so cold. That's good. And there is more CO2 as well, which makes plants grow better, especially when it's warmer. It saves on irrigation requirements too.

But it's not warmer enough to avoid reglaciation.
