Re: According to Asharq al-Awsat report, bin Nawaf reiterated the Saudi Arabia's rejection of any violation of its territories or airspace, adding that it would be "illogical to allow the Israeli occupying force, with whom Saudi Arabia has no relations whatsoever, to use its land and airspace."
Such a formal denial was to be expected... Of course, the Saudis won't brag about their likely collusion with an Israeli strike against Iran! Anyway, it doesn't invalidate my prediction, that is: Israeli bombers will first be stationed in Abu Dhabi's French base. A "bombing roundtrip" from Israel to Iran would be too big a stretch for Israeli F-15s: the longer the (flight) duration, the higher the risk of an intelligence leak, plus the need to refuel in midair, etc, etc.
So, why would Saudis oppose a "courtesy visit" by Israeli fighters to their French allies in Abu Dhabi? The fighters will stay in Abu Dhabi for a few days and then they'll fly back home --by night. And here's the trick: the fighters that'll make the return trip are French fighters fitted with Israeli ID-emitters... while the pilots are genuine, Hebrew-talking Israeli pilots --to fool both US and Iranian eavesdroppers. Next, a few days later, Israeli bombers will scramble out of the French base and cross the 300 miles over the Persian Gulf... brilliant, isn't it?
