You are correct. One of my close friends worked for IBM porting
OS/2 to PowerPC and he said that lot of things are the same between
MSFT and OS/2. Especially plug-and-pray (MSFT version) is true to
some extend.
When did MSFT invent anything original on its own?
Yes Yes they did invent the concept of "copy-and-extend without shame".
