True, but I kinda doubt he's right. If 'scientists' knew/thought this was going to cause a tsunami that would wipe out Florida or whatever, surely a few of them would be brave enough to defy Obama. For that matter, I would think Obama would want to get people out of there before he gets blamed for millions of deaths, etc ...

btw, getting back to something I was wondering about the other day ... assuming that guy is right about "several billion barrels" eventually being released, and assuming by several he meant 6.289, that would equal 1 cubic kilometer of oil ...

That would mean contamination of less than 1 part per billion. Not nice for the gulf, but hardly catastrophic for the ocean as a whole.
