The Mets have very good prospects: Tejada, F. Martinez, Thole (good contact hitter); Mejia; Flores; Havens. I'd part with Flores, Martinez and Mejia for Lee if Lee agrees to sign long term deal. But Lee wants to enter free agent market so these 3 players are not worth a half season rental. Oswalt wants out of Houston so at some point management will try to accommodate him. His contract is a big financial burden though. Mets need another top starting pitcher to get to World series.
