Are you addicted to fossil fuels? Yup. If so what are you doing to get off them? In the winter during the day, I heat my office with space heaters instead of the furnace and leave the rest of house cold. Why? Our electricity comes from a renewable source....hydro electric power. At nite, I heat house to only 68º. Consequently,there was heating oil left over at the end of this winter. I recycle as many plastics as possible including plastic bags, plastic containers, etc. I turn off my engine when at a drive through bank, McDonald's etc, put my car into neutral when going down hills, combine trips......groceries, bank, gym etc. Consequently I only have to fill up once every month and half to two months. What are you doing to save oil? Buying a horse? Adopting an Amish lifestyle? Why would anyone who wants to break an addiction to fossil fuels be on the internet? Computer hardware comes encased in plastics made from petrochemicals, the internet relies on electricity which is mostly generated from fossil fuels in our country.
