oh bummer! It does go to show how disingenuous bamah is. He had the agreement assurance from BP but wanted the stupid american people to believe he was the one who was going to wrangled the billions out of BP. Meanwhile he could have announced the agreement last night.
Hofmeister says you can never get a energy policy until the politics are taken out of oil. Meanwhile for the foreseeable future the US will be dependent on oil. Politics puts everything into a two year or a four year cycle and an energy policy will need at least twenty years or most likely even a longer period . As long as the politicians keep the dependence on oil a political issue tied to a green policy you will never have an coherent energy policy. Until the stupid americans realized how they are being bamboozled on the issue of oil dependence the problem can never ever really be resolved.

As I said the only sane and common sense opinions on last night's Charlie Rose show were Mr Hofmeister's. Then again I guess I was biased.

I don't like when a president isn't truthful with the stupid american people. I understand that they are stupid but i still believe they deserve the truth.

Don't worry! Be happy!
