jhild thanks for your comments. One troubling question is at what price? There has been a lot of talk here about $40-55/share. How many instances can you recall where an aquisition was made for a company at nearly double its market price? If I were a stockholder of the buying company, I souldn't agree to that premium. On the other hand, would ASCD stockholders agree to anything less? I don't think so. I wouldn't. swrdfsh
