Technology (..currently being ignored and/or yet to be applied by the Dizzy City administration, BP, Coast Guard..) already exists to recover or remediate the crude oil mess and underwater plumes. Kevin Costner is even in the act:

Where is the fleet of empty tankers and suction pipes to bring up oil plumes from the deep water? There's nothing wrong with the crude oil, it's just in the Gulf waters instead of in tanks where it is needed for further processing by refineries..!!! Beach sand can be collected, squeezed to recover oil, washed, and then returned to the same beaches. See the sand cleaning equipment currently used at dairies to clean manure from cow bedding: mclanahan.com

Have we forgotten all the "how-to" clean-up lessons learned in Alaska. already..!?!

Is BP chasing off all the available help for fear of losing control of the crude oil recovered from the ocean and beaches..?!
