If you don't know how insulting that comment is to both the president and the people of this country, I am not about to try to explain to you. Silly, insulting? Ok. But that wasn't what you claimed. You claimed the Rs didn't want BP to pay. You were wrong about that. The comments from Barton and other GOP members of the House comments characterized the president's financial arrangement with BP as a "shakedown". Many people are intepretating those comments as suggesting that BP was dealt unfairly and shouldn't have to pay. If that's not what your R reps were suggesting, then they need to clear up the misunderstanding........ASAP! Is that clear enough to you?
