Your post claiming that this country runs on oil, implying that without it, we would collapse is simply so ignorant as to be amazing. However, you aren't alone in your ignorance. It seems an entire major party, the GOP, agrees with you, which is exactly why this country very well may be doomed.

If we left this country's future to people like you, we would have never invented the automobile, because at one point this country relied on horses.

Take your buffoonery elsewhere. The country I want to live in is one that looks to the future, not the past. Oil is old technology. The future beckons. We can either be part of it or get trampled by it.
