Not at all, I just feel even more outrage at the ignorant prancing crooks and liars in Washington.

If anything, I would have more reason than you to be upset with BP. Its my industry and part of the economy they've done damage too.

I think it would be reasonable to bar BP, assuming it survives, from leasing and contracting with the federal government, removing them as operator on projects where the government has an interest as lessor (like Prudhoe Bay) for some period of years. (That would mean no operating in US waters or federal onshore lands. I think a sizeable fine on top of its liabilities is appropriate as well. I think the time to do all that is AFTER the well is killed though.

But I still don't like show trials, political lynch mobs, and ripoffs.
