Bullshit. Governors have command of their State Militias, guaranteed by law. They can and should have used their powers to put them into action, but they did not. The only question is why not? Was it their strategy to sit back and lay blame on Obama? It certainly seems that way.

As far as stop wasting time on political BS, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I made an attempt to get everyone to post political and energy topics over on the Politics of Energy thread, but no one listened. So if we're going to post a lot of non-sense about how the GOP is lily white and Obama is all to blame for the Gulf, then I'll continue to refute that vociferously and often.

However, if we all want to agree to cut the bullshit and focus on the original intention of the thread, I'm all for it as well. Financial discussions are more interesting to me anyway, since they don't attract as many lunatics to the discussions.
