I agree with you. It took a while for me to get a complete picture of CISCO adn SYSCO. But CISCO also will have some competition soon from LU, the other networking giant. They have redressed their 5ESS to provide data handling and gatway facility. their approach is to saturate the telcos with their switch for data communicartion needs. I don't have the complete details, but this announcement came a few weeks back. In distannt future there will be competition between MSFT and CSCO on the software front while INTc and CSCO will fight for the consumer end. But not sure what will happend to all these 2nd, 3rd ranking companies. May be more mergers and buyouts. LU is looking for a strong player. I owe this baby since USRX buyout ($36) timeframe. I will dip in if it goes below 35 again. All the best. -Karun
