Estonia is a gorgeous little country, with some nice Baltic beaches. Tallin - the capital - has a beautiful old medieval center - see the googled picture below. Food and beer are excellent. I think the Baltics were hurt by their monetary games.... I know that Lithuania was pegged to the Dollar - so it happens, for as long as the dollar was going up. They changed their peg to Euro - and it happened right near the USD top and the start of the advance in the Euro. Made stuff cheap for them, but also made it harder to compete.
