Michael, I think unit volume as opposed to dollar volume is important for their service business and based on last press conference that should be good this last quarter. Next year the CEO has stated they plan to change compensation bonuses to go after volume. Unless things really break negatively, I expect strong sales pick up next year in equipment dollars but a slightly lower profit margin. Both this quarter and next few in 1998 should be up from prior year numbers and as a consequence the stock price should hold or go up. If sales of equipment jump, I think their is room for very strong earnings gains. If that happens, your hold should be positively rewarded. I have been following for about a year and closely for only nine months so I may not have a total understanding of the company yet. But I have yet to find any negatives that scare me at the current prices of the stock.
Good luck,
Robert D.
