Yes you did and t=0 at Big Bang, while extending to infinity as you have portrayed it is one very key factor to the question. Not the only one, it is a subtopic and certainly an essential one. Classical science supports this although there are alternative theories.

The facts are many but begin at branches of this primary fact which is not resolute in and of itself.

* Either the universe was created at a point where time began and where there was nothing in temporal existence prior to that time or the temporal universe is existing for eternity in one form or another.
