WC should have nothing but the best...and there are enough of them with international/multiple cup and most of all TOP LEAGUE experience
well... for that you need someone like Bernie Ecclestone who although he is not at the helm of the bureaucratic body that controls motor sport;
this body being FIA... he controls Formula One.
Formula One is the best of motor sports could offer....
best engineering, best mechanics, best designers, beast raw materials, and best drivers... NO EXCUSES unfortunately, in the USA the sport is
seen as 'elitist' and although it may contain some of it.... it is the only way to weed-out under performers and end up with the best of the best.
now, they have a system to achieve that. it is in the lower formula, such as formula ford, formula three, formula renault, GP2, and others...
this system ought to be applied to referee selection in the junior world tournaments..... and ONLY if you have proven yourself as a good referee,
without stupid decisions.... then and only then, do you (as a referee) get an assignment as a world cup referee...... |
