until we get a debt free sovereign money supply, we are doomed. the only question is when. During which period in the last 1000 years have EVER had a "debt-free" money supply? Even gold certificates were the backing for interest bearing loans for the early part of the past 200 years in the US. The reality is that debt, within limits, is how an economy grows. The ability of the population to take on debt, and then repay it. But it's maintaining that debt level within the reasonable bounds of the ability of the borrower to repay that is critical. We've obviously far exceed that capacity so long as unemployment is near 20% actual. Hawk
