Sorry.....I can't remember.......is your non profit primarily Jewish? Is that why he assumed you would agree with his POV?

I was with a friend who is half Jewish a couple of weeks ago and we got into it over the flotilla. It was not really an argument because neither of us were real comfortable with our respective positions. I don't like what the Israelis did with the flotilla but at the same time, I understand why they are taking the actions they took. He feels that the Israelis have a right to protect themselves but he believes they used unnecessary force.

At the end of the discussion, I realized that the real problem is that there has been no resolution to the ongoing differences in Palestine. And that these bad events will keep happening so long as there is no resolution. Its very frustrating and so I continue to wish that the US would extricate itself from the dispute.
