That is alleged. And everyone is piling on, R & D alike.

You don't crucify someone -- corporation or human -- until a trial in fair circumstances. And we haven't had that. We don't know if there are mitigating circumstances that caused BP to take certain actions. We don't even know if alleged actions were taken until it is shown in a courtroom where rules of evidence, not the race to the news cycle, apply.

Furthermore, even if the alleged "violations" DID occur, we don't know whether they had anything at all to do with the explosion since we do not, as yet, know what CAUSED the explosion.

Liberals like yourself (and unfortunately, some conservatives as well) are quick to convict in the media as long as it is a wealthy person or corporation.

You'd be having a shit fit over BP's treatment in the media if BP were a poor 21 year old black kid instead of a wealthy corporation.
