Like your prediction, now how did NCI get into it??? Washington Post's Oct. 30 report ruled out the Oracle take over scenario: "Earlier this year, prior to Amelio's resignation, Ellison, a multibillionaire, said he was considering a takeover bid for Apple. Yesterday he said he had no such intention, despite the increased role of his friend Jobs." However, going with NC is written all over apple's walls, w/ Ellison on their board and in need of an NC partner to do that Asian deal (was it Vietnam or Korea or where?). I heard apple's new OS is targeted for the NC market. Now isn't this nice? Gates PAID for birth of NC :) Hmmmm....did he know? I think he is smart...this'll give him NCs with his Explorer...not a bad deal...this'll get him a step closer to having the dominant user interface platform...Gates'll be happy...Ellison'll be happy...Jobs'll be happy...everyone wins. It's either this or something else :) Ain't I a genious ;)
