>> EVEN O'REILLY ISN'T BUYING THE 'SHAKEDOWN' LINE....

I know it is a hard concept for you to understand, but I don't take marching orders from O'Reilly or anyone else. O'Reilly has tried to give Obama the benefit of the doubt, often far beyond what is reasonable.

Simply put, O'Reilly is frequently wrong WRT Obama.

The question here is whether an entity is "shaken down" when that entity has already committed to making the payment. And I don't know the answer. To what extent did the threat of criminal prosecution play a role? BP clearly has shown no hesitation to spend the money it takes to solve the problem -- 2 billion and counting thus far.

It doesn't matter. Obama is grossly incompetent and continues to show it on a daily basis.
