If you have some good reading material to add to my already growing list, go ahead and send me the references.

My focus, however, is how to empower individuals so that they aren't "enslaved" by the rulemakers. All too often I see stories that focus more on how the rulemakers are fighting amongst themselves, all acting in the name of the people. Then there's a bunch of namecalling and partisan politics, and the individual's empowerment gets lost.

Or the individual substitutes real empowerment for bandwagon politics.
