We are not talking Plato or Tolstoy. We are talking news reporters. You fantasize about their intellect but they are really nothing more than reporters of gossip......political gossip. And they are frequently wrong. And some of them have insufferable egos........see Olbermann. These liberal pundits usually use their great minds to understand what is going on. And they don't lie! Folks like Molly Ivens, Margaret Carlson or Bob Herbert and Frank Rich are first and foremost our best thinkers. Great minds? Oh please.......you've been sold a bill of goods. If Cooper or Olbermann are great minds, then we are in serious trouble.
