General Stanley McChrystal has fumbled any initiative that we hoped to gain with the surge of troops. The Afghanistan surge clearly is failing. Just what we need. A carrier strike force is assembling in the Persian Gulf. Iranian troops are assembling on the Iraq & Afghan borders. Turkey has aligned with Iran and is poking Gaza. Our air bases in Turkey are compromised. Our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan are being limited by ROEs. At least McArthur wanted to win. ...and it's one, two, three, what are we fighting for?
