You are still drinking the Brinker Kool-aid my friend. This forum is to discuss Brinker and his advice. He has been WRONG about Gold vs equities for over a decade.

I've done great the past decade but I'd have done even better if I had put my stock money into Gold.

Brinker sells himself as a market timer.

Brinker sells a newsletter called "Marketimer"

Brinker bashed gold as an investment for the last decade until recently. Doesn't that remind you of how he bashed internet stocks until Feb 2000 when he recommended TEFQX with a full page of his newsletter before it collapsed?


My "measured" newsletter portfolio is well above its January 2000 highs, but I'd have looked brilliant if I moved it all to Gold... At least I readily admit it.

As for today, I don't own or recommend gold as it could be in a bubble or it is a decade ahead predicting what will follow if we do see economic recovery.... so it might be fully priced a decade ahead much as Amazon.com was fully priced for 2010 back in March 2000.
