Roundup is safe. People are afraid of poisons, but compare it to other common substances
(The LD-50 is an objective rating of the dosage needed to kill 50 percent of the test subjects) It's inactivated by dirt or dust, and will not kill anything that it isn't sprayed on the foliage:
The acute oral LD50 of Roundup (glyphosate) in the rat is 5,600 mg/kg. So it's more toxic than alcohol, but less toxic than table salt and Tylenol.
