But a trio of Senate hawks often critical of Obama’s foreign policy stances – John McCain (R-Ariz.), Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) – suggested they would support McChrystal’s removal. “We have the highest respect for General McChrystal and honor his brave service and sacrifice to our nation.
