Re magic variables:

MS even made it part of OLE. It's called variants and supposed to be really handy since it can do autotranslation to target data types as well.

Drawback of course is that it is both memory and CPU hungry, but that is good for the Intel share price.

How many shares of Intel did you say Bill owns?
