Think of the excitement the country had when various industries were born.....and hundreds of thousands of people found jobs in those new and exciting industries...

i.e. When Henry Ford first made his new auto for mass market

i.e. When the first 707 was in operation

i.e. When new and innovative commercial buildings were being comtemplated...

i.e. When NASA was born...starting the Space Age ...and all the new technologies that were born because of the new products created

i.e. When Microsoft was formed, creating 'software for PC's'...at a time when people barely had heard of the computer, let alone PC's...

The problem today is there is virtually ZERO capital for loan to small business, the very engine that creates new jobs. The banks are nearly bankrupt, and are not loaning money. This is the biggest job killer of all time. Small business is the ONLY thing that has pulled the US out of every recession we've had. Small business is being strangled and taxed to death before it even has oxygen to grow.

Tell your brother there are ALWAYS people who need his expertise. His job now is to identify who they might be and where they are. The makers of old typewritter ribbon and "whiteout" had to find new products to produce. The makers of companies like 3M came on their new product by accident....

Tell him Good Luck! He will be excited about his next career once he identifies it....
