<You are still drinking the Brinker Kool-aid my friend. This forum is to discuss Brinker and his advice.

Kirk, you have interesting things to say at times. What I'm a little surprised about is you sound a bit like one of those who've been obsessed for the last decade looking for some irrelevant reason to put down Brinker. It's not like you're pointing out some important current issue. It's somewhat bizarre that first you're talking about gold when you know anyone who cares that much about gold is not going to be eagerly subscribing to Bob's newsletter. Maybe the Dines letter if that's still around.

And now you're actually talking about some fund that Bob recommended a decade ago. Looking at my Quicken I see I had a little of one of those First hand funds for a little while in late 1999 and dumped it with most of my tech stocks when Bob gave his sell signal.

So sure, this board is about Brinker but I'm not sure how relevant Bob not making some gold recommendation a decade ago or talking about some decade old fund recommendation that was followed shortly after by a bearish market call is important or frankly all that interesting.

I see there there are still some out there yapping about something Brinker did some ridiculous number of years ago. I was even shocked when I looked at a UTEK board somewhere and there were still people bashing Bob and bitter for that.

There's probably going to be a few bitter people in a nursing home whose only memory is going to be Bob's horrible QQQ call.

On balance having learned from and noting Bob's long term timing model calls have been extremely helpful and financially rewarding for me. Other then closely monitoring his long term timing model factors I don't otherwise follow the other stuff as you know when I talk about the highly speculative microcap and small cap semi stocks I own on that semi board I recently started posting on.
