So what is your point. He is till for drilling. He is not confused like we are. We have a group who wants to ban drilling, another advocating we continue drilling and even apologizing to BP.

I don't get your point either. Your posting I was responding to said, "Screw up the Earth, its natural resources and leave behind a pile of junk for the future generation." But Obama doesn't have any sort of coherent policy about energy, or much of anything else. I simply pointed out that he was for expanding oil drilling twenty days before the accident. Now he's for a moratorium on drilling, even though he apparently lacks the legal authority to order one.

Even if the United States completely banned offshore oil drilling for a generation, in thirty years the price of oil would be even higher and some people would be saying the technology has improved and the government should once again allow the oil industry to tap that available domestic supply.

As for apologizing to BP, Thomas Sowell made a better point here than Rep. Barton:
