Good morning Mr. Vegas :-) It's been said, there's a fine line between brains and balls. To much of one and to little of the other can you you in a heap of trouble. I can speak from experience that I've never mastered the exact formula so let me know how you do. :-) Chances look good to me that your* roll of the dice here* may pay off in spades... but.... the bad news is that every time I get that feeling I'm usually off a few days.. but I'm still pulling for ya. For me... I promised myself a long time ago to never let my emotions get the best of me anymore... I stick by the game plan but I sleep great and still ring the register. ching ching $$$$ ching !!! Your lick might be a good one-today amigo... For me... if it goes up today.... I win! It goes down today... I still win ... the other « I took off the table.... well... I leave that for you.... ...Mr. Vegas himself. I can live with that no problem and bet you can too:-) good luck! We approach things differnetly you and I. That's what makes the markets as they say.. Maybe I just grew soft over the years. I like to think I'm just a little savvier rather then just lost my nerve. It's never been a testosterone thing with me as they say. Besides... What do they say? Getting 50% of something beats 100% of nothing every time every time! ... Yep. that's my motto. I'll take 50% in pocket over 100% maybe, someday, just might , looking good but not just yet.. Every time! And. I like to leave a little on the table for the next guy... ( MR VEGAS :-)) and if . so much the better... great.. I'd just blow it on something I didn't really need own anyway :-) PS.. Keep an eye on the Iraq deal going down...also... careful of the market aat this juncture.. the entire market . the scenario seems to be getting scary close for another testosterone measuring contest again here. As they say. where there is smoke you eventually find fire. I would not like to be long anything in here right now. Going to lighten up on some long positions and maybe use that DDIM and PRST dough from this week to do a few Dec. S&P puts today. I would like to short the S&P on any rally today and hold for a few days in here. Take a few contracts home for the weekend as it where. You ever play the indexes? Looks like the cash markets overnight here are taking a beating again. Yeah... I think shorting a few S&P's might be in order today.... I'm not saying exactly Monday... but.... The next time down... what do YOU THINK Joe public will think? My guess is... wow... hey... lets jump in because it comes right back every time.... Takes a licking and comes back ticking? Could this be the grand daddy of all setups in the history of the markets? Who knows? I just know.... The market is the ultimate trickster... And records ARE... made to be broken. Good luck Mr. Vegas... I'll be rooting for us both today!
