Yes, but trains are more efficient users of fuel than cars. Get it?

Along with the "subsidies" for sidewalks and Tokyo-style urban living, which we will all have to endure if and when oil becomes scarce.

We'll adapt. No big deal. Better to give people the freedom to do that than to force them into a future society that, frankly, is based on an anti-oil self-fulfilling prophesy.


If we wait til oil is scarce, our economy will collapse. Other companies see that eventuality and are planning accordingly.
