Have been wondering about the bacteria and oxygen levels. Any idea how fast oxygen levels are declining? Suspect the natural bacteria that can metabolize oil are already growing rapidly. Will mobile marine life have enough time/warning to vacate the area, or will it become a killing zone? Strongly agree that just dumping oil eating bacteria into the water may turn a disaster into a mega-disaster.
