Got oil? That market's not depressed, ergo good local RE.

Ain't the same in the rest of the US (Louisiana was doing OK before DWH, and Texas never went into much of a slide). Remeber that all RE markets are local, at least that's what every realtor told me before the market went over a cliff....

Finally, check the date of when that header was written. I thought of changing it to "I TOLD YOU SO", but that would be lacking in humility, methinks....<G>
