You and Lee both have good points, but he is correct in this case. You simply allow the MMs to walk the stock down -- you get a "good" deal and 20 minutes later the ask drops below what you paid. This happened to me on the stock GaBard is referring to. It dropped nearly a buck a share because of this and rode right back up to about what I paid when the MMs covered their short. Tricky game they are playing -- could hurt them if someone with really deep pockets and strong beliefs in a particular stock bought into their game and did not allow them to cover -- hard to beat them no matter what though.
By the way, there is nothing weak about IKAR -- you should take a look if you have not.
