Not sure why these summits are not held in places that are difficult to get to for the protestors but easy for the heads of state -- like maybe northern Canada or on an island in the middle of the ocean with very limited commercial air service.

Granted there may be fewer shopping opportunities for the spouses and fewer parties.....but there would also be fewer arrests and less violence.
