I read a bit about the Barred Owl. It seems it is destroying the Spotted Owl population in Wa, Ore and Cali. They are moving in to their territory and out preform them for food and habitat. They are even cross mating with them. It sounds like Fish and Game may allow a hunt to control their populations.
