Open Option Interest
Hi Ben,
Thanks for all the great info and charts. I'm a big follower of open option interests and how they affect stock prices around expiration. This has benefitted me several times in trading IOM. All other things being equal I would agree with 25+/-1, however, given new announcements, Comdex, and what I perceive as a changing market attitude toward IOM, I'm looking for a close on the 21st between 28.5-30. I don't think we will close above 30, but IOMs recent strength should balance the "pull" toward 25. I would not be surprised to see us drop under 26 intraday before the 21st, at which time I'll be buying Feb, May, and maybe even Nov calls.
