I just bought into Spyglass today at 18/share. I guess I will just sit on it and wait to see what happens.

A couple of things I have noticed of late---

MS relationship:

Someone said awhile back that the revenue stream from Microsoft would be gone since MS will eventually have all of the components licensed from Spyglass done in house.

Well the relationship is still quite strong from I can see. Spyglass is contracted to do versions of the Explorer for Unix systems and they also have made their SDK first to Offer Microsoft ISAPI and PCT Compatibility on NT and UNIX Platforms.

Alliances:

Spyglass also continues to gain new alliances with companies like Mitshubishi and Pipin (Web TV)...

Price:

One could argue that Spyglass is attractively priced right now. If you compare Spyglass's stock price to or Netscape, it has a lower P/E ratio and actually has positive earnings. Netscape even announced they want to pursue a similar strategy to Spyglass for embedded web technology. Spyglass already has a big head start on this (not to mention standards in agreement with MS) that Netscape doesn't have.

Conclusion:

I bought a little over 550 shares today...
