Asking for ONE AND A HALF TIMES ALL THE OIL BOOM THAT EXISTS IN ALL OF AMERICA (including all of the West Coast and Alaska - what the heck is Alaska supposed to do if it has a spill?), enough to LINE THE ENTIRE COASTLINE OF LOUISIANA MORE THEN THREE TIMES OVER was ridiculous.

So would be spending well in excess of one Billion dollars to build hundreds of miles of sand berms --- taking more then a year to finish (LOL!) when experts are telling you that as berms are partially put into place it would most likely funnel oil with even greater force and effect through the gaps into yet-unprotected areas. <GGG>
