was never implying that you are using traditional (aka worthless) t.a., i have seen and designed very sophisticated oscillators, the only thing that makes an osc an osc is that it has a predefined range or attempts to flatten out price data, that leaves plenty of room for esoteric stuff. anyways. i just know from personal experience all systems i have designed benefit greatly from a few simple rules based on market breadth.
