my 24 year old son, an engineering major with straight A's, has long hair. quite a bit longer than it is here: one of his fellow students in his lab says to him: "so, your a pothead, huh?" he replies "NO" [that's the truth] the guy grimaced in disbelief and says "yeah, right" He says that fellow students assume he is a pothead because he has long hair. i chuckled and said: "...and people assume im not because my hair is short"
