With the double dipping, NO wonder the State is in such a financial overdraw....John Carlson, former candidate for WA Governor, is now back on KVI radio as a talk show host...He was truly furious the other day when discussing this problem, PLUS the way some in the State Government think they can "fix" it.....their plan was/is to take money from the retirement fund (already with huge shortfalls) and pay for the new retirees with that money. Talk about a shell game....They put private company execs in jail for things like this....Government so called leaders think they can get away with it. They have. So far anyway.
