As they move (now) more into being an at the heart technology/software company..... more techno savvy leadership will be required....particularly to glean respect.... i don't think chip or stockwell have a clue in this regard..... Karlin would be my pick for a half bank / half techie leader of the company....

but..... the present leadership is deeply entrenched in a variety of ways....not to mention the cost of paying them off....

I am actually and have always been quite bullish on their technology.... it's the failure to execute, missed opportunities, lack of accountability..... i.e. business leadership which I find lacking, almost to the point of incompetence....

The two buddies over thanksgiving approach to starting the company was interesting until they went public.... that's the kind of crapola that doesn't work for me anymore....or pie in the sky statements about the marketplace for internet banking.... yeah..... it exists...

better to ask the question.....how does/how will S1 exist in it.

The worst result in a healthy dose of skepticism would be conservation of capital.... RD.... when they take off, if they do, there will be room for everyone to get on board...period. But why be first at this point.....

More fun to watch it unfold...and a whole bunch less risk in the return.

later
