Without a minimum wage and the welfare draw an open border might not be problematic at all. You might have a point if it weren't for the fact that it's not just poverty stricken, hard working, honest people coming across our boarders. It's tons of drugs, groups of possible terrorists and paramilitary gangs, not the type we'd wish to welcome with open boarders. "The whole secret of existence is to have no fear. Tell that to the ranchers being threatened on a daily basis and who are afraid to go into town to get groceries for fear that their possessions won't be there on their return.
