It's ridiculous to think along pure libertarian lines like that in the real world. What would prevent an army from slowly coming across the border, setting up a base and taking over the country by force?

Sounds silly, but in Stossel's view government has no role at all. So a nuc bomb, guns of all kinds and heavy weapons could be purchased at the local five and dime by an army of marxists.

No sense having a country if you don't control the border to some degree.
