Tried to drive one in New York a few years ago.

It crapped out before I could test it.

With a Lotus body, for me I would need to scrape my knees getting in and out...mostly out....

I'm 6 foot 3. The sales rep showed me pix of Arnold in the car.

Arnold must be a midget.

But seriously.

I don't know what it costs now, but 5 years ago the Tesla was 89 thousand and the battery was about 25 thousand of that.

The car seems like a dream, no question. But you cannot so much as carry a set of golf clubs in it. You are buying a Lotus body which anyone bigger than 5'11" will have a difficult time getting in and out of and no one knows how long the battery will last or how you will be able to replace it.

I was really interested in buying one five or six years ago but it's not practical. I cannot fit in it, I cannot fix it (I'm not in California), and it doesn't transport anything. A Moped would be just as practical.
